A rare peek behind the scenes from the very beginning of the campaign in 2019
This video about the casting of the 3rd Annual Hofoco show was shown at the top of the show (June 24, 2024). For context, the casting directors and their junior assistant Brian appeared on stage to introduce the video and Brian was on crutches with a neck brace.
In 2022 and 2023 I emceed Operation Homefront’s “Military Child of the Year” awards. I grew up on Army bases but they didn’t have this award when I was a kid. I would’ve been obsessed with winning it. The winners I met were all really bright kids with big futures. I was a bit nervous to try to make a room full of military brass laugh, but they seemed to dig it.
